We hope everyone had a relaxing holiday weekend enjoying all the freedoms that the men and women of our armed services have fought valiantly to protect!
As we settle back into our normal routines we feel it is important to reflect on the sacrifices made by those brave men and women, lest we take them for granted. It is often said that “freedom isn’t free” and while the true meaning of these poignant words is sometimes muddied with Memorial Day sales events, barbecues, and booze, for those who have bore the true cost of freedom themselves, those who have witnessed the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty or the loved ones who live with the loss of a hero, the tragic wisdom of those words is all too apparent.
And so, as we continue on creating memories for the future, may we never forget the memory of those who made it all possible not just on Memorial Day, but every day.
